What is the biggest hot take you have, not basic think like thinking one idol is better than another, I mean like biggest hot takes about groups / the industry as a whole?
Let’s talk 🗣️
most people hate on shindong cos they don’t find him attractive not because of his actual controversies and if he was conventionally attractive no one would gaf about it (don’t get me wrong i am NOT defending him at all)
this is a very hot take so be warned but a lot of the industry is based on pedophilia - debuting minors (especially with some of the songs and outfits) and then encouraging parasocial relationships with them through methods that require spending money only an adult would have, aegyo, beauty standards, etc… i’m not saying all kpop fans are pedos but i am saying that unfortunately the industry is a very inviting space for people who are pedos
This!!! I think it's really important we acknowledge this within fandoms, especially after the recent debut of a2o may (13yo members feels icky to me). It's important that people take a step back and reflect on why they are within kpop spaces, and to take accountability and remove themselves if it's for the wrong ones.
Probably only lukewarm but I think yg is dragging out blackpink too long now. They clearly all are doing well in their solo ventures, so I think it's overdue they split.
